"Open world games have become more and more popular in recent years and there are many examples of good open world series such as Assassin's Creed, Red Dead Redemption, Grand Theft Auto and the Arkham series to name just a few. However, it's fairly rare that these gigantic works of art, story and gameplay work well in every way. Two recent open world games I have been impressed by are Rocksteady's Arkham Knight and CD Projeckt Red's Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
